Our Little Goblin

As you can tell I couldn't decide which pictures to post so I put them all up for viewing!! Kendall is FINALLY getting the hang of nap time (in the crib too) after a week of VERY hard and consistent work which have helped to minimized her evening crying "fits." Boy, did she have a lot to tell us today...talking and giggling all day!
Yesterday she had her 2 month doctor's appointment. All my dietetic collegues will appreciate the following....Kendall is:
10 pounds, 10 ounces (50th%ile)
21.5 inches (25th%ile)
OFC: 14.5 inches (10th%ile)
Wt for Ht: 75th-90th %ile
Ht Age: about 1 month, 2 weeks
Yes, I could not resist figuring out beyond the basic height and weight %iles. Ladies...Stillwater Medical Group has electronic growth curves on laptops that the MD's take into the rooms to explain the details to parents. It of course records past measurements...we need to look into getting a similar program!

Family Fun

Kendall giving Grandma Karen a big smile! Grandma Karen enjoyed her time with Kendall this weekend. Kendall and I also were able to go on a nice stroller walk with Aunt Rachel. After many years, Jeff was able to see his cousin Morgan again and I was able to meet her for the first time. Thank you Morgan for snapping pictures of the family occasion...can't wait to see them! And Great Grandma June brought Kendall some beautiful books from England.

Kendall is very lucky to have such great family! Everyone has different interests that she can learn from. She has a great set of grandparents...Grandma Karen has quick court reporting typing skills and such great knowledge of history and proper English language (please excuse our grammar errors throughout the blog). Grandma Perunovich has her creative "home-making" talents with sewing, gardening and cooking/baking. And I know that Kendall will enjoy listening to her two grandfathers playing music together at the cabin (Ken plays the guitar and my father plays the accordian). Uncle Steve is incredibly athletic and is such a great swim teacher (hint...hint). Uncle Brett has amazing artistic talents especially with coloring (another hint) and knows A LOT of "fun" facts. Aunt Rachel can read any book in record speed while remembering every detail and knows what books Kendall should have read to her (again, another hint).

Pumpkin Patch Visit

We went to Bergmann's in Stillwater to get Kendall her first pumpkin which we will carve out and decorate at Grandma and Grandpa Perunovich's house during our Halloween visit. We can't wait!!! Jeff and I were enjoying these two girls getting excited over picking out their "perfect" pumpkins knowing that Kendall someday will be doing the same. We also took Kendall and my mother to Aamodt's Apple Orchard for lunch and Kendall was observing all the kids running around. I think we will be making this a yearly fall tradition.

Photo Session

We had our photo session...finally!! We had to cancel several of our sessions due to Kendall's baby acne. Anyway, if you would like to see a sample photo click on Jen's Portraits underneath our Blog List. She had many expressions that day...happy and smiling, sleeping, and crying! We had a wonderful photographer who knew our friend Julie who past on this past June. Jeff and I could not help thinking that Julie would have adored Kendall and enjoyed taking photos of her.

A Very Cool Surprise!!

GO JETS!!!
What a wonderful package Kendall received today from Grandpa Campbell! I just had to share it with everyone...our household has followed Brett Favre to the JETS and we are loving Favre's continued success.
P.S.- We are still Packer fans too although I have officially resigned as a Vikings fan since I don't have time to watch losing teams ;)...I am going to hear about that one- All in good fun!!!

Relaxing Weekend

Our friends Becky and Craig got us this STOUT onsie and it looks very cute on Kendall. She is already showing us that she is going to be college material! :)

This was taken during her solid 2 hour nap after a stroller walk which is a rare occurance so I had to snap a picture.
Ok...so I bundled her up a little too much for our stroller walk, but those fall days can be tricky.

Happy Birthday!!

Today is my 31st Birthday...the past year sure did fly by! I can not believe a year ago we were a married couple getting ready to start a family and now we are so blessed to have such a wonderful baby girl. I hope the year of being 31 will be just as fun as being 30!

Good Morning Mom and Dad!!

Kendall gives us about 10-15 minutes of smiles, giggles, and talking when she first gets up for the day (at about 8am or 9am).

Loving Bath Time

I love to mess with her hair and make different wild hairstyles! Kendall is finally getting use to bath time and enjoying more everytime.

Kendall having some fun!

Yee-Haw!!

Dad and his little "Duke"

Those of you that know Jeff understand his love for the Dukes of Hazard so it wasn't a shocker when this onsie showed up in our house!
