Visiting Hibbing

Kendall was so excited to crawl around someone else's home that she couldn't even stop for a quick picture.
Kendall giving Breann a thank you hug for the book
Kendall learning about babies from Ann.
My parents recently had this beautiful porch built and everyone gave their opinions on the shade of stain they should do. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch and enjoying the view.
Kendall is listening to the rules of the boat...she takes them seriously!

We watched Scott pitch in his Little League game...Hibbing lost.
We had delicious dinner on the new porch and out came a rainbow, actually a double rainbow.
Kendall gathered grass confetti to celebrate her first rainbow siting. Group hug with Jane and Kai.
Kai and Kendall starting their day by swinging.

FORGOTTEN HUGE MILESTONE!!

Kendall started with the "army" crawl at about 9 months and then a few weeks ago at about 10 1/2 months old she went onto the full crawling style. I can't believe I forgot to blog such a huge milestone...possibly too busy chasing our little baby girl?!?!

Como Zoo with Annika

I really hope Kendall likes butterflies as much as I do...we saw a monarch in this garden but she cared more about her grilled cheese sandwich Jeff made for her then the garden. I have to admit Jeff does make a mean grilled cheese. Annika taking a break from the animals...
Kendall decides to fit in some stroller yoga before nap time. And lately we can't go anywhere without her baby MP3 Player...we catch her rockin to her tunes often.

11 month Birthday

"My duck slipper has to be in here somewhere"
Eating blueberry pancakes for the first time and loving it!
Recipe: 1 cup flour
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
6oz container Stonyfield Farm organic yogurt-blueberry flavor
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg yolk
Couple handfuls of Blueberries
(Makes about 6 medium size pancakes)

In the future I plan to add a whole egg (when Kendall is over 1 year of age), use whole wheat flour, and add flax seed to make it even more of a healthy breakfast.

River Falls Days

Kendall clapping at the many parade floats. Hands down the best parade I have been to and River Falls did a great job with their town celebration.
"Should of had a V8"
Supporting the shades (Kendall's lasted a whole 20 seconds).
I couldn't resist snapping a picture near this beautiful garden with the black cat in the window. I never noticed the flower gardens some of the houses in River Falls had...very impressive.
Cutest thing...I think my dad will appreciate this picture. We watched the firefighters help these little ones live out their dreams of spraying water from a fireman's hose.
Kendall had some fun of her own with the crazy colored pony tail and (half way done) butterfly face painting on her cheek! She just couldn't hold still for them to finish the butterfly, maybe next time.
A very tired Kendall at the Car Show...a small show compared to ones Jeff is use to attending, but we were still able to see some real nice cars. This car deserved to be in a family photo!! This car resembled the one Jeff's Uncle Brad had in high school. What a nice looking car.

Fourth of July

Kendall (up bright and early) waiting for us to get our act together for our last morning walk at the lake place. Every night we enjoyed music by a fire.
On the boat waiting for the fireworks to begin
Cuddling with dad after swimming
Kendall would have loved to spend the entire day in the pool.
She didn't really care what was going on with the parade...she was too busy watching the dog and baby near us.
Great Aunt Tammy gave Kendall this awesome Scooby Doo stuffed animal that she wrestled with all weekend.
